Suggested improvements for Strength

I use my Garmin for either running/walking/hiking or for strength.

Now for strength I feel the app is kind of lacking where it comes to having the correct exercises available to select and (and maybe I am doing it wrong) there is a lot of work going into the registration and selection of the right exercises.

I would like to suggest the following improvements:

Create you own exercise where you can add what area's it targets (primary and secondary)

Create a full set: so Bench Press, 5 sets, 10 repetitions, 50KG (or something like that)

Have the option to copy the previous set

  • Totally agreed. We need to be able to create and add our own exercises.  Although the list of available exercises is fairly long, it omits quite a few common exercises. I frequently have to settle on an inaccurate exercise choice is which is just the closest one I can find.

    Also, when navigating to the "Select Exercise" page, it's very annoying that is defaults to the "All" exercise list, instead of the "Recent" exercise list.  Naturally, most users will be selecting from the latter, not the former.  When you're filling in 20 or more exercises, this default setting results in tedious extra steps.
