Edge 830 Sync Activity WITH profile specific data to strava

I created activity profiles for each Gravel, Road, Tour and Walking. In Garmin Connect Actibity Types are selected accordingly. Activity names as well. When syncing to Strava none of this information is transfered automatically. Everything seems to be a ride. This way there is no way to automatically sync with the relevant data. Is there a way that I haven't found yet?

In Strava all biking is called "Ride" except for some special type like e-bike, velomobile and virtual ride so biking will always be "Ride" in Strava no matter the type in Garmin Connect.

Edge devices don't support walking so even if you call the profile for Walking it will still be a cycling type. What type is it reported as in Garmin Connect?

Use your "Walking" profile and afterwards change the type to Walk in Garmin Connect and Strava.
