Edge 830 401 error when trying to connect with Strava

I keep getting this error when trying to connect the unit with Strava, Strava connections are enabeled.
830 is updated, and should be ready to go.

Strava is useful, but you don't need to use the app anymore.

I am afraid, you may need to ask at Strava. Error 401 is a problem of authentication (unauthorized access), so either there is some problem with permissions on their website, or your access is blocked for some reason, or you do not have the right credentials, or there is perhaps some temporary problem blocking access from Garmin's API (though I have no problems with sending my activities to Strava from Garmin Connect, so it does not seem to be a general problem). Check with them.

Are you using the Strava Connect IQ app or how are you connecting your device with Strava? The app is no longer supported and needed.

Thats what i was trying to use yes, im a rookie at this... Never had a bike computer before and Strava is new to me as well. But it looked to be helpfull in planning training courses

Edit: Open the 830 main screen, press IQ, then Strava Routes, then it prompts me to open garmin connect and log in to Strava. And that is when i get the 401 error message

Ok, thanks a lot. Now to practice for my first metric century ;)
