Oops! Something went wrong loading your courses Waypoint from Gaia GS

I'm getting an error message saying "Oops! Something went wrong loading your courses" This only happens when I try to export GPX Waypoints from Gaia GPS to my Connect App on iOS. I don't have any issues exporting courses and appears to only impact Waypoints

i've tried restarting my watch, and uninstalling the Gaia GPS and Connect App on my iPhone but still no success.

Or another good app to make hiking routes on your phone?

Hey, friend. So, 23 days ago I made the comment above, "I'm getting this too. Did you ever resolve the issue?".
I fixed it for myself. However, it may have been a "me" problem. I determined it was when I was creating a map with another map as my starting point. In other words, I imported a GPX from an already established map and then elaborated on it and saved it as my own map.
I resolved the issue by re-drawing a map from scratch. After I did that I didn't get the error again.

Same problem

I just find a solution, but it need you to edit the gpx file

The gpx file from gaia is create with first of all the waypoint that you clicked on the map to create your course and then the route point that link all the waypoint to create a course.

In pratical term, you only need route point in gpx map

If you open the gpx file with a text edit app, you can delete all waypoint ( select text including the first <wpt and the last </wpt, then delete it, save your gpx)

And you can import it in garmin connect and save it without error
