I'm trying to add my Capital One credit card to Garmin Pay, but I can't receive the SMS code to verify my identity in the last step of setup in the Connect app.
The phone number I had listed with my bank was a virtual Skype number that couldn't receive SMS verification texts. So I updated my phone number with my bank to one that could receive the texts. The bank says everything looks good on their end.
The problem is, when I updated my phone number with my bank, it isn't registering with Garmin. It's been almost 2 weeks (plenty of time for Garmin to sync their data with the bank), and it is still only giving me the option to verify with a text to my old phone number.
I've tried deleting and re-adding the card, deleting and re-adding the Connect app, and restarting my phone (iPhone XR)...but nothing updates the Garmin Pay verification options to my new phone number.
Has anyone else been able to solve this problem? Thanks so much!
