Segment times are different in mobile app and connect website.

I use Garmin segments on the Edge 1030. After uploading an activity that has a best time for the segment, the correct time for the segment shows up on the Garmin Connect website. But, if I look at the that same segment in the mobile app, the current best time is not showing. An older best time shows. What is so strange about this is that if I go to the leaderboard in the mobile app and select to show only me, the correct best time is shown at the top. I thought that it might take a few days for the time to be updated but that is not the case. This happens with all my segments. Is this a known problem and are there any solutions? Not a big issue but annoying.
