Pause Feature

Why don“t deliever Garmin in the activities a PAUSE function. As i read a lot of community users wish also the feature. Would be very helpful! Trank you

You did not tell what device you own, but I did not see yet a model that would not have a pause in activities. Most of them allow to pause the activity both manually (by pushing the GPS button), as well as automatically (at stop, or after the pace drops under the customizable threshold). You can turn on and adjust the auto-pause in the activity settings. In case it is different on your device, consult the user manual, it is certainly explained there too.

Hi Trux....i have a vivoactive 4, and i dont know how to break/pause an activity....only a roundbase or finish is available. If its more please tell me

As I wrote, it is all very well described in the user manual. Although I understand that people do not like reading manuals, often you find the information there much quicker than waiting for a helpful answer on the user forum

Manual Pause:
VÍVOACTIVE 4/4S OWNER'S MANUAL - Ending a Round

Press .
Select End.
Swipe up.
Select an option:
- To pause the round and resume it at a later time, select Pause.

Auto-Pause:

You can use the Auto Pause^® feature to pause the timer automatically when you stop moving or when your pace or speed drops below a specified value. This feature is helpful if your activity includes stop lights or other places where you need to slow down or stop.

NOTE: The device does not record activity data while the timer is stopped or paused.

Hold .
Select > Activities & Apps.
Select an activity.

NOTE: This feature is not available for all activities.
Select the activity settings.
Select Auto Pause.
Select an option:

NOTE: Not all options are available for all activities.
- To pause the timer automatically when you stop moving, select When Stopped.
- To pause the timer automatically when your pace drops below a specified value, select Pace.
- To pause the timer automatically when your speed drops below a specified value, select Speed.
