Are you getting an error message? What happens when you try a manual upload to Garmin Connect Web? - How Do I Manually Upload an Activity I Recorded to Garmin Connect?
Which vivomove do you have? The original from 2016 or something newer like the vivomove HR, 3, 3s, or Luxe/Style?
If you cannot grab the fit file using a Garmin USB cable, then suggest resetting the watch to factory defaults in hopes of reducing the chance of this error happening again.
I have the original old one. I have tried resetting the watch (holding the crown for 15 sec). Stil same problem.
I am experiencing exactly the same. I have connected/disconnected number of times. No result. Only way to synchronize is via cable and computer. Then I get sometimes two same statistics instead of one (but it is easy to delete). I have TrainingPeaks connected so it may cause some issues but it does not synchronize either as the watch should drive the sync. I must say it is getting rather annoying to synchronize each time via computer. Any help on this would be great!
I got the same issue with my Edge 510 when I ride outdoor and put my iPhone on my back. The Bluetooth signal will be blocked by my body so that it connected and disconnected with the phone frequently. Then when I finished the ride and save the data, Edge 510 can not sync to the Connect on the phone. It only can be sync by cable and computer. Now I will turn off the bluetooth on my phone when riding outdoor. After save the data, turn on the bluetooth and the sync is ok.
it's probably due to frequent connect and dis-connect of watch and phone during your activity. When I swim with my Forerunner 910 and put my mobile phone near the pool, the bluetooth will connect and disconnect every lap. Then it doesn't sync after saving the data. So turn off the bluetooth on the phone(easier) or watch if it will connect/disconnect frequently. Turn on bluetooth after you save the data and sync is ok.
