Device incompatible message when I try to send course to edge 520 plus

I have just turned my 520 edge plus on for first time in a year and although it’s connected in every way it won’t let me send a course to it. Message reads device incompatible. I can send them to my watch but not the edge. Any tips welcome please.

Is the Course Type set to one of the cycling types? Aren't you trying to send a hiking, running, or an undefined type of course to the Edge?

Thanks for the reply. No it’s definitely set to cycling only. I uncheck all the others.

OK, in that case check out some of the threads listed here on the right side (column Related) - I see some similar threads there, so hopefully you'll find the solution there.
