How to hide the map display in Connect App?

If you do not need any maps for your outdoor activities, you could disable the GPS in the settings of the respective activity. Not only the map will not be shown, but it will also consume less power from the battery. The question is then though, why buying a GPS watch, when you do not want to use it

My only alternative to what trux mentioned is that for security reasons you want to hide your maps from others. You can change your privacy settings, which will hide everything. Or create a privacy zone, which will hide the starting location of your activities. https://connect.garmin.com/modern/settings/privacySettings
