Social media accounts don't show other garmin users

I've created a brand new Garmin account and connected it with both my Facebook and Google accounts, yet none of my friends appear when browsing through connections. Friends have attempted to add me manually, but I don't receive a notification (neither in the iOS app or on te Garmin Connect website).

I've since tried removing and re-adding my facebook account but it doesn't seem to have any effect.

There may be indeed some bug in the search function on the Connection page of Garmin Connect. It no more works as it used to. Hopefully it will get fixed eventually. In the meantime, have your friends…

There may be indeed some bug in the search function on the Connection page of Garmin Connect. It no more works as it used to. Hopefully it will get fixed eventually. In the meantime, have your friends sending you a link to their Garmin Connect Profile, and connect them then directly there, on their profile.
