Log in issues over WIFI

I have an odd issue maybe someone can point me in the right direction. Just got a forerunner 245, synced it with garmin connect ios app and worked fine for the first couple days.

Now when my phone is on wifi I can't log in to garmin connect and keep getting a server or sign in error, however if I turn off my wifi I am able to log in on LTE. When I connect back to wifi it kicks me out of garmin connect and wont let me log in again until i switch wifi off.

I have tried switching to a 2.4 ghz network and it still won't let me log in on wifi. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

  • I am having the same issue on my Index s2 scale and my Fenix 6x!  I think it has something to do with daylight savings bug.  I have double checked everything and made sure my phone is on automatic time updates. I reset my Index scale as well and it cannot connect to any of my network either.

The only work around I found is when using connect be off my local home network sign in sync activities, etc..

  • I also am having the same problem since last Sunday 3/20.  If I turn off my wifi I can login using wireless on my IPhone.   I contacted Garmin and they said they filed a ticket with the developers.

  • What ISP do you use?  I am on Comcast/Xfinity and I am wondering if they changed something

  • I think my issues started around the same time. I am also on Comcast/Xfinity and use an Eero router.  I read in another thread that someone changed their router and it started working. I'm going to try logging in when I'm on a different wifi network when I get the chance.  Let me know if you ever find a solution.
