I recently got a fenix 7s solar, great watch but…

Why is there no prompts from the watch whilst using maps/google maps on my iphone?

I’ve tried numerous options and other apps but nothing works whilst driving. Walking, running, cycling, all those work relatively well but NOT navigation whilst driving.

Are there other settings or apps that would allow the watch to relay directions from maps and or google maps whilst driving my car?

The watch will show the notifications you see on your phone so one way could be to let an app on the phone put the directions as notifications. You will probably need another app than Maps or Google Maps. I think it is better and safer if you just put the phone in a holder in the car so you can see and hear the navigation prompts.

How are you navigating while you are walking, running, cycling etc? Are you using a navigation app on the phone or the navigation on the watch?
