Issue in Connect IQ with Swimming distances showing Meters under Yards vertically, but correctly showing Yards horizontally

I swam 1800 yards and then 200 yards.

When looking at the distances it is showing 1646 and 183. That is showing METERS.

When I rotate my phone horizontally, the correct distance is showing in yards.

Garmin has had soooo many issues with yards vs meters in swimming. Please get this right, for those of us that use this for swimming it is not ok as it continues to be a plague.

Same thing is happening here:( So irritating and makes ZERO sense!!!

I have had issues with Garmin Connect and swimming over and over again. It really feels like they treat swimming as the unloved step-child.
