Automatically track sets, reps, and rests for strength training?

for recording a strength training workout, I’d like to set it and forget it and not have to click a button to indicate when I’m done with a set, to initiate the rest timer, then go to the next set and repeat.  I’d rather just choose strength and have the watch track the workout then I click a button when I’m done.   I understand the accuracy is not great, even when clicking the watch constantly, so I’m ok losing some accuracy.   It’s more important thst the time for the entire activity is correct.  Is this possible?

  • If you want to track the sets, reps and exercises you will need to press the lap button between the sets.

    If you just want to track the time you can just start the Strength activitity and don't care about the sets, reps and exercises. The watch will create one set, try to recognize the exercise and count the reps, but it will be wrong and especially when you switch exercise. The watch can only detect one type of exercise per set. Afterwards in Connect you can delete the one exercise that was created. This is what I do. I never log sets, reps and exercises.
