- I am training using periodization on a modified Lydiard program. I ran 5 x 1 min hill repeats the other day that were recognized as a recovery run by garmin due to overall pace. My recovery run the next day was recognized as a vo2 max run due to elevated hr in recovery. I am in an “anaerobic deficiency” due to lsd over 8 weeks but the hr in hills hit 95% and not recognized. Anybody else having this problem? Vo2 max and race predictions to be trusted?
