Problem with uploading a fit file

Attach the fit file to this thread. We can look to see if it is repairable.

• Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
• Or upload the fit file to a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

For future reference, some fit files can be fixed by the online FIT File Tools, using the section remover without any adjustments. The result can then be uploaded to Garmin Connect Web using the Import Data page. I tested your file, so this works. Then change the activity type from "Other" to "Cycling."

This will work for you. Unzip then import into Garmin Connect Web - Wojciech.zip

Some suggestions to help minimize the occurrence of corrupt fit files:

• Remove all activity fit files from the device using these directions - Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device 
• Regularly check for firmware updates using Garmin Express
• Please report back here when you encounter corrupted files again

Many thanks for your help. The file unfortunately only contains about 25% of my total ride, which was 135 km long and had about 3000 m of elevation gain. The summary on my Garmin 830 of that ride confirms that yet the map only depicts the section you managed to retrieve. 

In that case, need next level support - +Former Member  Possibly related to the sensors being used.
