Use App Store to upgrade to the latest version compatible with your version of iOS. If you got a too old iPhone that isn't running a newer iOS version (iOS 13 or higher) you can't upgrade to the latest version of Garmin Connect. The only option for you will be to use the older version or get a new phone with a newer version of iOS.
