Steps don’t show in connect app

My forerunner 735xt syncs with the connect app on my phone, but despite the steps initially showing they disappear and I have no history of them. This seemed to stop around July last year. I have the app on both iPhone and iPad but the way his only paired to the phone. Any ideas?

  • I have same issue. I see steps in my Fénix 6 Pro, but I am not able to sync sunday 16/01/22 and monday 17/01/22. I try Garmin Express, Garmin Connect even manual upload. Nothing works.

  • Is it working today? Click the steps widget to see if the steps have synced. The My Day view do not show if the steps has synced.

  • Today it is working fine, but days before today are not syncing additionally.

  • Same for me--I am missing steps from Jan 18, though 19th and today (20th) appear to be syncing again. The missing steps show in my watch but do not sync to the iOS app (or the web interface). This has blown a year-plus step goal streak and I'm realllly wanting a solution...

  • For assistance with steps missing from your Garmin Connect account, we encourage you to reach out to your local Garmin Product Support team directly.  To do this, type "support.garmin.com" in your address bar and use the Garmin Support Center to research your issue.  Once you get far enough in the search, you will see (at the bottom of the page) some contact options, which may include Call, Chat, and Email.
