pairing edge 830 with app

I have the iPhone 13 now but i cannot get my workouts from the Garmin Edge 830 to sync into the app on the new phone.

I deleted the app on the old phone. I restarted both devices a million times. I even got the bluetooth on the phone to show the 830 as connected but when i go into the app it says bluetooth is not enabled.

The device seems to be looking for the phone.

Should I delete the app and reinstall or will this delete all of my data

    It won't delete your data. That is always on Garmin Connect in the cloud. Just always use the same Garmin account.

    I even got the bluetooth on the phone to show the 830

    Make sure that when you reinstall the app you use only the Garmin Connect app to connect Bluetooth. Do not use the iPhones Bluetooth settings.
