Garmin Connect does not upload Heartrate from Activity in Daily Timeline

Hi,

Whenever I record an activity (such as cycling) the heartrate from that activity is missing from my Daily Timeline. However, the heart rate data is present in Activity itself.

Is there a fix for this or is this a bug?

    Wear your watch during the ride and you will get the heart rate.

    I have multiple Garmin Devices. When I am cycling, I use a Garmin Edge 830 to measure the activity (heart rate included, connected to a heartrate strap). What is the purpose of a platform wth multiple connected devices if these can't share data in a single ecosystem?

    The heart rate on the timeline comes from an activity tracker.

    I'm getting the same error. When I use a forerunner 35 to record an activity with a chest band. This only started a week ago. I will have to test if the same thing happens with my vivosport (no chest band). Defeats the point of the 35 with the chest band. It also means that no intensity minutes or steps are recorded on the Timeline from the activity.

    Update.  Sync started to get even worse. It was not recording even my steps.  I resolved the problem with a reboot of the watch. I did lose my steps and activities for the day, however all works correctly now.
