  • I have issue with duplicated values in Apple health application.

a model situation that always happens to me:

If I create an activity on a specific day and open the Apple health app on the same day I see the value of active energy + energy from actvity insted of active energy. On attached screen 1689kcal + 1249kcal = 2938kcal. At the end of the day, the values (1698kcal) from Garmin connect are copied to the health app, in this case the correct value, but the value from time when I opened the health app (date 13.1.; time 20:30) is still there.

This is very annoying for me, because the active energy value is used by other applications and this creates a chain of errors.

Same problem with distance, but I have solved that by disabling the import for walking and running in privacy for health app. I am using phone as a source for distance. Maybe continuous logging in the health app would be the solution - my previous watches (non-garmin) did this and it worked fine

    I am using: Venu 2 (5.38), iPhone 13Pro (15.2), Garmin connect app (4.50.0.29)

I created a new topic based on Garmin Kevin's reply from the thread here.
