Days of data in watch not syncing to either the the iphone or connect or Garmin express (vivoactive 4s/ iOS- Mac 11.6)

I am trying to capture data over a two-day span that is represented on the watch but won't upload to either the iPhone connect app or the Express app on my Mac book. Ive tried syncing repeatedly, restarted the watch, removed and redownloaded the phone app, and thought getting the desktop express app would help access the data. At this point, I'm wondering how to download the data from my watch and upload it manually, but I am not sure  Any step by step direction help would be nice, though I am not so optimistic since I haven't been able to find this issue occurring for this watch, specifically for this issue.

The watch was previously having issues syncing, but now syncs very well, I'm just missing two days of data.
