Anyone else got problems with connecting Forerunner 945 LTE with garmin connect app? I have an iPhone XR with iOS 15.1

Since around 2 days - I updated the garmin connect app - my Forerunner 945 LTE isn't connecting with the app. I did several things like iPhone shut down, garmin app reinstall, watch disconnect/connect ... nothing helped.

The curios thing: When I push the button "sync" oder "connect phone bluetooth" on my watch there comes the message "still connected".

Did anyone else have problems like me and can help? Thx

That doesn't sound like you enabled pairing mode, but I can be wrong since I got the FR945 without LTE and can't test the exact steps. Check this page to be sure https://support.garmin.com/en-US…

Hello 8286307. First you will want to completely remove your watch from the Garmin Connect mobile app:

*You will also want to remove the watch from your iPhone's Bluetooth menu.

Then hard reset your watch. To perform a hard reset, press and hold the power button on your watch. Ignore the "Power Off" question and the assistance alert (if applicable) on your watch, just continue holding the power button pressed down until the screen goes blank. Once this occurs, you may release the button. Allow the watch to sit powered off for a few seconds, then you may power it back on by pressing and releasing the power button.

Finally, you can now re-pair the watch and the mobile app:

Hi and thank you for your help! I did all the steps but nothing worked. The watch can't bei re-paired with the app. iOs Bluetooth didn't find the watch aswell.

Are there any other steps I could do?

Just to make sure since it isn't mentioned in the linked pages: Did you start pairing on the watch?

Hi, yes I tried. But the watch just showed me "waiting for telephone" all the time. And otherwise the garmin app said "Can't find a watch".

I think it's maybe a problem with the last iOS Update and the bluetooth connection with the garmin app?!

Steps to Enable Pairing Mode on a Forerunner 945 LTE Watch

Press and hold the UP key (middle left key) to access the settings menu.
Use the DOWN key to scroll down and select Connectivity.
Use the DOWN key to scroll down and select Phone.
- If you see Pair Phone, select this. Your watch will now be in pairing mode. Otherwise, proceed to step 3.
Scroll down and select Pair Phone.

The watch will now be in Bluetooth pairing mode.

Puh - after several times of trying your suggestion NOW it works. Had to shut down the phone, reinstall the garmin app and pairing like you adviced.
