Hi, hoping someone may be able to help.
I have a Marq Adventurer which has worked seamlessly for the last 18 months or so, happily syncing using Connect on an iPhone 11.
Last week Garmin Express (on a Mac) prompted me to update the Marq's software to v20. I did this via USB, it seemed to go fine.
After restarting, the watch will no longer sync over Bluetooth with my iPhone. If I reconnect it to Garmin Express via USB it syncs fine.
When looking at the iPhone's Bluetooth device list, it does this weird "oscillating" thing where the Marq rapidly moves from the "My Devices" to the "Other Devices" list and back again (appears for approximately 0.5 seconds before moving to the other list). There is no blue i circle to click to tell the iPhone to forget the device, as it never shows up in either list long enough...
I have tried all of the following, none of which have solved the issue yet:
- restarted iPhone
- restarted Marq
- reset Marq through settings menu
- reset Marq by multiple button press reboot
- removed device from Connect device list
- deleted and reinstalled Connect app
Now when I start the pairing process through the Connect app, it immediately recognises the Marq when putting it into pairing mode, but it never gets any further and eventually times out, inviting me to retry.
I get the same result on an iPad when trying to pair for the first time.
Is there a way to force a downgrade of the software version, back to v19?
Any ideas on how to solve most welcome!
Many thanks
