Venu 2 Notifications Issue on IOS / iPhone

No solution to notifications problem from Garmin support.

No matter how I set the notifications in the Connect application, I will still receive notifications from all apps on the iPhone. Smart Notifications turned off ... still receiving notifications on the watch. Smart notifications set to Calls & Texts only ... still receiving all notifications on the watch. Smart notifications set to Calls only ... still receiving all notifications on the watch.

The solution (not really) for now is to disable notifications per app in IOS notification centre ... so you don't see them at all ... THIS IS NOT A SOLUTION.

What we need is a per application setting inside Connect app.

Xiaomi was able to do it with their application and cheap Mi Band.

  • Does this really have no solution? I just bought a Venu 2 and having the same problem. I like the watch otherwise, but this is a game breaker for me. How can you let this bug exist for so long? I've tried reinstalling the apps, restarting each device multiple times...and still the problem exists. This is unacceptable.
