Only select text messages are coming through on my Vivimove Luxe. Husbands messages don’t come through

I had several text messages come through this morning on my phone from various people but only one message from one friend notified on my watch. Hubby text me three times but nothing? And I have 3 unread from others that haven’t notified on the watch?
