In the Garmin Connect app on iPhone, on the page that shows running history over the past year, the "Avg Daily (mi)" value appears to use an incorrect denominator. It seems to compute the total mileage, then divide by 365. But as today is 2021-11-11, the number of days shown in the history is from 2020-12-01 through 2021-11-11 - 345 days, not 365 days. So the average is too low. As we move closer to the end of November, the number of days of data will grow, and the average daily mileage will grow. Then when 2021-12-01 hits, the number of days of data will drop to 334, but the denominator on the average will continue to be 365, causing the "Avg Daily (mi)" to suddenly drop.
