Are you talking about the badge or just the race?

Badge: Is it confirmed that you will get the badge if you run it virtually? I don't see any information that confirms that. The description says "Run the Garmin Olathe Marathon [distance] in Olathe, Kansas, on November 6, 2021.". It says that you must do the race in Olathe, Kansas.

Race: The FAQ (https://ozrun.org/virtual-race-faq/) says: "Do I have to do my virtual race on November 6?
Absolutely not. The Garmin Olathe Marathon virtual race option is your race, do it on your time."

I am talking about the badge, sorry for the confusion. I was wondering if I have to run the race Kansas-time or NZ-time to get the badge… I was hoping that I could complete the virtual marathon from NZ on 6th November and still get that badge…. 

Do you get the badge for the virtual race? I don't think so. You must run the real route. If you run the actual course virtually you will get the badge. You will not get the badge just by registering and running the required distance. I can be wrong, but that is how it has worked for all previous races.
