I have two devices connected to my phone through Connect - an Edge 530 I use for mountain biking, and a Montana 700i I use for motorcycling. I have Connect setup to automatically upload my activities to Strava, and everything works perfectly with the 530. However, after switching "Auto Upload" for activities off for the Montana 700i, it always resets itself back to on when I re-open the app. This then loads a bogus activity into Strava and I have to manually delete the activities in Connect and in Strava.
No matter what I do, the toggle always switches itself back on.
I really have no need to have the Montana in my Connect account, but for some reason I can't use the Garmin Explore mobile app unless it's connected in the Connect app. Why I need to sync my device in one mobile app in order to use it in another mobile app is only a question Garmin could answer...
