Garmin Connect won't let me sign in

When I tap the sign in button i get a thing that says "Sorry, sign in attempt failed, try again later" and then it just loads endlessly. This is on a apple phone, and i can sign in on a computer, it only affects my phone for some reason

Assume you're using the same exact credentials as signing in to Garmin Connect Web?
Logging in to the correct domain/region under. Go to "Advanced Settings" to make sure.

Also, you might try turning off Wi-Fi if it's on, in case there is a problem with the network you're on.

It won't even let me get far enough to put in my email/password. I tap the log in button on the starting page and then the error message pops up before I can type anything in

Please try the following:

Uninstall/Reinstall the Garmin Connect mobile app on your phone
Power cycle your phone (turn off then back on)

If you are still seeing the same symptoms, please perform a screen recording of this process and take a screenshot of the message that you see. Next, reach out to your local Garmin Support Team for more detailed assistance. They may request the screen recording and/or screenshot from you.

I'm having the same issue here although on Android. I have a support ticket open but no luck yet.

Error happens after I accept the EULA. Error pops and I cannot enter UID or PW. Loops twice before app crash.

Try clearing the cache of the app (in OS settings » Applications » Garmin Connect), or reinstalling the app as suggested previously here in the thread by Garmin-Kevin. If the problem continues, try it with an alternative Internet connection - i.e. mobile data instead of WiFi (or vice versa). And please post the screenshot of the error message.

I’m having the same issues.

I have the connect app and my dad blocked all websites just wondering what website that app is linked to so he can allow it.

The app connects to plenty of domains, as well as directly to some IP addresses without a DNS record. So certainly you'll need the access to garmin.com, and all its subdomains. It may and may not be sufficient.
