I have profiles set up on my Edge 520 plus for each of my bikes, and I have gear profiles for each in Garmin Connect as well. It would be nice if the Edge profile could be tied to a Connect gear. Bonus points if that info could be sent to Strava as well. 
Somehow Connect differentiates between my MTB, Gravel/Unpaved, and Virtual rides without any input from me so it seems like taking it another step would be possible...
