Getting an error as installation failed not enough space

On Forerunner45, I am getting an error as installation failed , not enough space.

Deleted multiple apps, watch faces but still the error is seen

Space manager shows available space 423K, available slots 30.

Please help fixing the issue.

Try connecting your watch to a computer then update using Garmin Express.

Seems to have been the fix for this issue. At least it was on other watches, such as Forerunner and Instinct - Garmin connect app has no more space, what do I do to get more space?

Hi,

I dont see any option to update software/firmware. I assume it means its up to date.

Is it required to download firmware files and update it?

Please see the FAQ below that addresses this specific issue:

How to Resolve "Sync Failed File Transfer Error Not Enough Space" in the Garmin Connect App

After syncing with Garmin Express this one time, that should push the software update to the watch. It may be helpful to sync with Garmin Express around once per month for regular maintenance, though this is not required.
