GARMIN SPORT WATCH DEVICE TYPE FONTS TOO SMALL & CONDENSED TO SEE EASILY ( WHY SO SMALL??..

HI GARMIN,:-)..WATCH DEVICE LETTER FONTS ARE FAR TOO SMALL & CONDENSED TO SEE EASILY ON THE WATCH ESPECIALLY WHEN RUNNING + IN SLEEP STAGES THE BED TIME & WAKE TIMES ARE FAR TOO SMALL TO SEE EASILY WITHOUT A MAGNIFIER. WHY NOT JUST USE OPEN LARGE LETTERS & NUMBERS EASIER TO SEE FOR EVERYONE WHEN RUNNING & OR ON GARMIN CONNECT?.

  • During running you see the data fields. You can change the number of data fields. If you choose fewer data fields the text will be larger.

In Garmin Connect you should be able to use the accessibility features to get larger fonts and texts.

  • Hi, thanks for the feed back, yes I know about iphone accessibility & the number of data fields affecting font size. The main issue may seem trivial but when I look each morning to see my sleep hours at the bottom of the graph or on the 945 watch for my HRV morning readiness readings the sleep time & wake time is so unnecessarily small & condensed not even accessibility can help, other type would end up being too big on the phone and the watch type is unchangeable anyway.

This is an issue with the algorithmic language for the Garmin app layout. GARMIN simply need to make all excessively small type as big as possible within the confines of the available space to optimise ‘quick glance’ action while running etc & for people who wear glasses.

I find film credits or subtitles are often the same, there is no consideration for the plethora of people who need to read it and some are more capable visually than others. Nobody should be straining to see important info on the watch or App period:-).
