My two HRMs have stopped working with connect and my iPhone??

My HRMs have stopped pairing with connect and my iPhone, I have changed batteries to no avail…

Which HRMs do you have?

Hi Andy, one is a blue Tri-hrm the other is the one that came with my garmin 830

Ok. The HRM-Tri can't pair with your phone or Connect. It only works with a watch or bike computer.

It looks like the 830 comes bundled with a HRM-Dual which also got bluetooth so it can connect to your phone but not Garmin Connect since Connect doesn't support any other HRMs than HRM-Pro. You need to use some other app like Strava och Zwift for that.

Does it work to pair them with your 830?

I’ll test again but the dual was paired with my 830 but now won’t….I wondered if using my fenix 5 at the same time (inadvertently) had confused them?

If you are using ANT+ it should work to use the same HRM with multiple devices at the same time. If you are using bluetooth for both or bluetooth for one and ANT+ for one it might have some issues. I don't know how and if that will work.
