Hiking workout steps

The “hiking” activity does not allow to add a data field with a count of the steps done during the activity (venu 2)

Can you use a data field from Connect IQ? This is the one I use (Steps to Fit): apps.garmin.com/.../eb7018d6-3a13-4530-92ec-ed51d1f56e07
