Vivoactive HR golf course failed to load

Hi,

I’ve read the other forum posts about the golf course failed to load error and have tracked them and their successes.

I have a Vivoactive HR running SW Version 5.30; and running Garmin Connect 4.45.1 on my iPhone 11 Pro running iOS 14.7.1.

I am still having the same error of golf course failed to load despite:

  • deleting all golf courses and resyncing
  • uninstalling Garmin connect and installing 4.45.1
  • restoring defaults on my Vivoactive HR
  • removing the Vivoactive HR as a Bluetooth paired device on my iPhone 11 Pro
  • doing a hard reset on the Vivoactive HR
  • restarting my iPhone 11 Pro
  • connecting the Vivoactive HR to my iPhone 11 Pro via Garmin Connect
  • doing a second hard reset on my Vivoactive HR
  • connecting the Vivoactive HR to my macOS via USB and syncing through Garmin Express

None of these steps have worked, and it’s pretty frustrating. I’m familiar with hardware resets, software resets. Perhaps I’ve missed another option to try here, but it’s been a long list of things to get this with no success.

Open to hearing if there’s another option to get the courses loading again.

  • Hello, I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. Reports of this issue were resolved with the latest version of Garmin Connect.
