App account is different than web's account

In short, I'm currently having two accounts with same email address, one in web and one in app, and they are not syncing with each other. I'll show you how this happened.

1. I got my new Garmin watch and downloaded Garmin Connect Mobile from App Store (China).

2. I registered an account with email (let's say the email address is email at my dot com) since it was my first time using Garmin product. I then logged in and sync with my watch, all seems fine.

3. I tried to connect my Garmin Connect account (email at my dot com) with Strava, but wierd thing happened, I couldn't. At Garmin Connect login page, I kept getting login information error.

4. I then went to Garmin Connect web page, but still couldn't get logged in with email at my dot com

5. I tried to register a new account with email at my dot com at web page, and then I succeed. And I have also successfully connected this account with Strava.

6. Now I have two seperate accounts, both with same email address email at my dot com . On iOS app, I counld see my activities and data but none of these can be seen at web page as well as Strava.

My question is, how this happened and how can I finally sync my data with Strava.
