Forerunner 645 Music not pairing with my Iphone

Good morning, I have Forerunner Music 645. It works all fine when I connect it via cable to Garmin express for windows in my laptop, however, it doesn't pair with my Iphone in Garmin connect mobile App when I try to sync. I activate the bluetooth in the smartwatch from Setting/Pair Iphone and cyrcle icone start twisting with the message "go to mobile app and add device'', which is what I am doing but without success in pairing. The only thing I had done previously is to re-initiate the smartwatch I had been been using with no problems for weeks, so the default settings were re-established. Then I canceled the Garmin connect mobile app, and re-installed again. But still I cannot pair the smartwatch with my Iphone. If anyone could suggest how to solve that, I would really appreciate.   • Try these steps below and in the video. 

    • Verify that you're running the latest release of Garmin Connect Mobile iOS.
    • In the Garmin Connect app remove Garmin - More > Garmin Devices > select your Garmin device > Remove Device
    • On your iPhone go to Settings > Bluetooth > select your Garmin device > Forget This Device
    • If you have any other mobile devices (phones, tablets) nearby and paired with the Garmin, also do the same there - Settings > Bluetooth > select your Garmin device > Forget This Device
    • Restart iPhone
    • Restart Garmin
    • Place your Garmin in pairing mode  - depends on model, but usually hold MENU > select Pair Phone.
    • Pair using Garmin Connect, not your phone's Bluetooth settings.

    If still no joy, might need to contact Garmin Support

  • Hi Seilogramp, thank you very much! It worked after doing “forget this device” from Iphone bluetooth setting. Then I could pair it successfully.
