Why isn’t it possible to have SRAM AXS shifting statistics in Garmin Connect?

My bikes SRAM AXS parts are connected to my Garmin Edge 830 and the shifting statistics (gear usage) is properly collected and transferred to SRAMs web portal.

why aren’t these details shown in Garmin Connect as well?
will this functionality be added at a point?

  • Garmin support wrote me, it is because sram axs is a 3rd party sw. :-)))))

When I told them, so are my powermeters (sram and Axo) so is my HRM Wahoo, and that fenix 6x pro is showing the gears, so syncing them with axs page,  suddenly there was no reply.

Later I received answer that they will send it as a suggestion to the dev team.

    That was 3 months ago.

  • Nothing more to report here? I'm in the same baot and it is annoying to in look in so many different places for all the data.

  • Refreshing this. Why cant this be done. Info goes from GC to SRAM, why not the other way with shifting details. Can be great to have it all in one place.  While you are at it. Add the ability to have default bike for each different type of riding. Ie, default for mtn biking, def for gravel, etc. And, add the ability to add pics of gear. Lets go Garmin, catch up with the rest of them, not that complicated.

  • You need to use a Connect IQ app, to read data from the majority of 3rd party hardware, and so it is also for SRAM devices. Check out the CIQ store if there is one supporting your gear: Connect IQ Store | Free Watch Faces and Apps | Garmin. At the moment I see 10 apps when looking up SRAM, but there may be others when you search specifically your gear. If not, ask the manufacturer whether they plan offering a CIQ app for their product.
