Newsfeed is no longer a summary.

What has happened to newsfeed. It is now more like a novel. The maps take up too much space. It is a mess and not useful. Bring back the old version please.

I'm also get notifications for all likes of my activities and can't turn it off. Maybe that is connected to the update of the news feed? Anyone else also get notifications for likes?

I totally agree-I don’t like having the maps front and center and taking up the entire screen for one person’s entry

I absolutely agree. This new Newsfeed in Garmin Connect is terrible. Just give an abbreviated version of activities and we can drill down to see the detail of we want to. Please return it to the way it was, please.

The new news feed is terrible! Bring back the abbreviated news feed, I'll click for more details *if I want to see them*. This makes me want to LIMIT my connections if I have to scroll through a page for everyone's individual activities. Don't "fix" it if it isn't broken. Bring back the old-style news feed please!

Why change the newsfeed layout from a summary of mine and my contacts info, to what now looks like a bad book. Now ya gotta scroll through everyone's maps and details, whereas before it was actually readable. Change it back, or at least give the option to covert back to the way it was!!

I totally agree with this. why an intrusive display of those activities? I quit Strava because there other people's activities are more important than your own. Are you also going for the commercial populist side? Please make an option for the old, clear view!

why they are showing a f* map - I dont care about it - single foreign activity covers the whole screen - this was terrible step back.

From News Feed I clicked on one of the headings where my name and the date is for one of my runs and a profile screen came up that looks a lot like the old news feed. I'm on Android.

this is awful. Maybe a bug? I cannot believe they released something like that. I dont give a F to see anyones map. If I were curious I would open the detailed activity. Bring it back!
