Fenix 2 and steps count - the devide register, but why I cannot download it?

The device stores the steps count. But, why I cannot sync it with Connect Web? Doesn't make sense considering the device is able to register this info.

Hello seilogramp. Thanks for this. But, doesn't work. I tried all the options, without sucess.

In the end, I got the file .FIT from the activity this picture and I went to the website https://www.fitfileviewer.com/.

I opened the file and the field "STEPS" is not there. This is super strange, because fields useless for me (like temperature - considering that I do not have any sensor to monitor the temperature) are there. But usefull fields, like STEPS, are not there.

Steps are not included in the activity .fit file. They are recorded independently from your activities. This is why one of the suggested fixes is to make sure you haven't created a second Garmin account. Data is Missing from My Garmin Connect Account After Syncing

Since you're saying "Connect Web," are you doing manual uploads? If so, that might be why, since you would just be uploading the fit file that doesn't contain steps. How are you syncing your device? Garmin Connect Mobile app? Try syncing using Garmin Express
