Manually Entering Activity; Only Activity Option is "Safety"?

The Garmin Connect App won't give me activity type options when entering an activity manually.  it has worked fine for years.  Now it only lists "Safety" as the activity and it can't be changed.  Using version 4.44.0.33.     Any thoughts?
