Can't pair Garmin 735XT to iPhone 12 mini

Hello,

I have a new iPhone 12 mini and can not pair with Garmin Forerunner 735XT watch.

I have tried the advice given to others with iPhone 12 Pro:

deleted device from Garmin Connect App / restart watch and phone / add device in app/ Bluetooth on. However, the watch does not pair.

Please let me know how to pair the devices?

is your Garmin still connected with an old phone? Disconnecting with my old iphone worked to get is connected to my Ipone 12 mini.
