Garmin Connect is asking about my menstrual cycle. As a 69 year old athlete this is silly. Can it be turned off?

Thanks for this. I will do that. However it begs a few questions. Of course menstrual cycle has an effect on coaching and training. However the absence of a menstrual cycle is important to know.
There are 3 causes that are important to know.
The definition of a premature menopause varies slightly from one country to another but in general is the cessation of periods before the age of 50. The significance of it is that once periods have stopped no matter what the age there is a loss of calcium from the bones. Loss of bone calcium is the cause of osteoporosis. That loss is most in the first two years after the loss of the menstrual cycle and thereafter continues at a slower rate. A premature menopause occurs at any age although it is more common in the fourth decade of life. Clearly early diagnosis is critical and it is important for a coach to be aware of this possibility and advise a medical referral should there be a suspicion that it is occurring or has occurred. Early premature menopause needs to be thoroughly investigated.
POP Progesterone only pill for contraception commonly causes irregular cycles or absent cycles.
Other rarer causes in young women are:
Previous surgery eg removal of the ovaries and/or uterus or emerging intracranial conditions
