S62 Won’t allow me to connect with Garmin Connect app.

I have a new Approach S62 running on current software version. I have an IPhone 11 Pro Max software version 14.4.2 

I have downloaded the Garmin Golf App and successfully paired with the S62. Played a round of Golf, all done with success. I to see my other fitness data, walk, cycle etc. Amd downloaded the Garmin Connect App.  When I open up the Connect app and select “ Add A Device “ I select the S62 from the list...” Pair Phone “ I go onto the S62 to pair... it says “ Already Paired”

removed Golf App,  unpaired watch, opened up Connect, attempt to pair watch aaaaaaand.... BOOM message says “ your approach S62 Can only pair with the Garmin Gold App... 

Am I missing something? Where am I supposed to able to access all my health and fitness data? It appear no functionality in the Golf App exists..

Help!
