Different clock times recorded when I go running with my wife.

I have a Fenix 5X+, Wife has Vivosmart HR+. When we go running together and record, my watch gives the activity time as when we started and hers gives the activity time as when we ended. For some reason (don’t know if this is linked) we don’t register as having run together on Strava. Anyone know of any semi-obvious or clever gotchas (apart from making sure the time is set correctly on the watches!)

That is strange. I assume your start times are correct on Garmin Connect? Neither of you have privacy zones configured on strava or Garmin? Have you posted your question on the strava forum? https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/community/topics
