Swimming activity becomes running in Strava

Hello,

I hace a Vívomove 3S. A swimming activity becomes running in Strava. I did An update yo the la test software.

Anyone sugestions?

Keyboard was on Spanish So I did an update to the latest software :-)

Which activity type is it logged as in Garmin Connect? Has it worked before?

In Garmin Connect as swimming. First time I try this out. Friend of me has same issue. Never worked.

I just did a test with one "Open water swimming" and one "Pool swimming". Both were transfered to Strava as "Swim". I can't create a "Swimming" activity on my watch.

Are you using the Strava integration or are you using some other service to sync your activities to Strava?

Hello,

on Garmin it was pool swimming. I use the integration option. I disconnected and reconnected, no luck. It must be some setting.

I have the free version of Strava. Can that be the reason?

I doesn't matter if you got Strava subscription or not.

Check this setting in the Strava app: Settings->Data Permissions->Health-Related Data

I got "Access allowed".
