Vivomove HR

Since getting an iPhone 12 my Vivomove HR continually disconnects from the phone. This did not happen with my iphone 8 or SE. I have tried every troubleshooting option available - I have unpaired and paired, I have turned both devices off and then back on, I have factory reset the watch, and downloaded the most recent iphone software update. It only over stays connected for about an hour, and is driving me nuts that I have to reset the watch multiple times a day for it to pair. Can you please provide some guidance?
