why are not all downloaded golf courses showing up in the list?

Garmin Connect - Downloaded Golf Courses shows only "some" of the downloaded courses.  When I go to "add" "+" a course, type in the name in the search box, it shows the course as already downloaded - with a check mark. However, this course does NOT show up in the list of downloaded courses. When I select this course - it shows me a map and indicates the course is downloaded - but it is not in the list of downloaded courses to select. WTF?  If the course is not in the list - it won't download to a Vivo 3 Music device. Bottomline - I can select from some of the courses that are downloaded - but I have several that I can't. No obvious differences - but several courses I play won't load or appear in the list - even though they indicate they are downloaded in the Garmin Connect App.

Help?

  • Can you try uninstalling and reinstalling the Garmin Connect app? In similar instances that usually resolves issues like this.

  • Did you ever solve this? I am having the same issue.

  • You can try deleting some of the courses and then downloading the course(s) you plan on playing for them to show up.

To delete a golf course on the Garmin Connect app:

    • On Android - press and hold course and select Delete (trash can icon)
    • On iOS - swipe left on course and select Delete
  • just received Venu 2. It automatically updated the firmware overnight.  I am having the same problem with previously downloaded golf courses not showing up on the Downloaded Golf Course list. I have been using the Connect & Golf app with an approach S20 for a few years and have many downloaded courses with score data but they don’t show up when I try to add them to the list. The only courses it Adds are courses that I haven’t played or recorded data. It seems not to be reading courses with data (score history).  Is there a fix or When will this get fixed?

  • I tried and deleted a few courses but it still won’t read the courses from the list which show they have been down loaded

  • Or Garmin could just fix the bug ???

  • Have the same issues with downloading golf courses on the garmin fenix 5. Have reset my watch to default factory settings a few times. But the no new courses gets updates on the garmin watch. This is very frustrating. Please help!!

  • I have done the following multiple times and in multiple orders and combinations - nothing works:

    1. Delete all courses from phone.

    2. Restart phone.

    3. Restart watch.

    4. Sync watch.

    5. Uninstall Connect app from phone.

    6. Reinstall Connect app to phone

    7. Uninstall Golf app from watch.

    8. Reinstall Golf app to watch.

Garmin, gonna need you to provide a real solution to this!

"Hover" does nothing.  Click goes to a blank page.

I've got the same issue on my vivoactive 3.
